It's never goodbye only I'll see you later
So tonight I have a feeling I won't be able to sleep, and I can't even start counting the days that he has been gone until tomorrow. I'm exhausted. And I know it hasn't fully hit me. He kept asking me not to cry when he left so I held it in as best as I could. And now I want to cry and need to cry, but I can't. Will this get any easier?

It will get easier, yes. You'll fall into a routine. It will never get easy though. You'll still have days where you need to cry. I have that problem sometimes when I need to cry and can't... It DOES get easier sweetie. Stay busy!

it will get easier, and you will learn to stay super busy! If you need to cry let it out, it always helped me to just have a few minutes to cry! You can do this, pm me if you ever need someone

![]() It didn't really hit me until this week (4th week since he was deployed). I cried most of the week and felt really down in the dumps. I'm starting to feel better since joining this forum a couple days ago though! It definitely helps to know others are going through the same. It should get easier. Try to keep busy - focus on hobbies and such. I'm trying to keep myself busy by working on the cross stitch project from our wedding (over a year ago... oops!) and several quilts (three four family members, one for hubby). |

It definitely does get easier as the other ladies said. It's okay to let it out and cry because sometimes it just makes us feel better when we do. Try to stay busy, do something you've always wanted to do but never had time to do. Come to the forum whenever you feel down, because trust me it's helped me in the past few weeks to see I'm not the "only" one going through the emotions that I am experiencing. So hang in there...time will go by.
