Looking for other pregnant ladies with deployed SOs

I was searching and searching to see if there was a group already started for women with deployed or soon-to-be deployed husbands, fiances or boyfriends. I'm about a week away from being 6 months pregnant and my husband was just deployed to Iraq about a month ago.

He is supposed to be getting his RnR for the due date! I'm really wanting him there while I go through this. I don't want him missing the most magical moment of the birth.

So, just looking for a support group. We are all so emotional and being pregnant only makes it worse.

I will be just about 6 months when my husband deploys. It will be tough but I know we can make it.

I'm myself. DH isn't deployed, but he's in AIT right now and hasn't been home since Feb. Baby and DH are racing to see who gets here first. There are a lot of ladies here who know exactly what you are going through!

I will be 36 weeks on Monday and at the moment my DH is deployed and wont be home till January, to make things worse he wont even be able to come home for the birth of the baby. Gotta love the Navy life. Hes been gone since April

Yeah, you'll definitely be able to make it. I'm here for you, plus everyone else on here. Will he be able to come home for the birth? Where's he deploying to? Is this your first deployment? This one is my first and it sucks a**!

Yeah, I figured there were plenty of women on here that are preggers so I wanted to gather us all up and share emotions and stuff that other girls aren't necessarily experiencing.

Wow, I didn't know AIT took that long. But never been through it myself. My DH was through it before we got together.

Awwww... I'm so sorry to hear that Gosh so you're due like at the end of September! Wow! Do you know if it's a boy or girl?

I'm really hoping our little girl cooperates with when daddy has his RnR She's due Dec 5th so we'll see! My first baby was 2 weeks late so I'm a lil

Do you get to talk to him much? I've heard of couples having the labor on webcam for their husbands to watch. Is that a possibility? Kinda weird I know, but better than nothing. You can at least yell at him

My hubby deployed when i was 11 wks. But thankfully he will be home before my due date! IDK what i would do if he wasnt here since this is our first baby i wanna be able to share that experience with him.

You're a lucky girl. This is our first baby, too. I do have a 5-year-old from my first marriage so it's not like I have no idea what to expect during pregnancy, but this is his first baby and I really wish he were here to experience everything: the lil soccer player in my belly, the ultrasounds, my inability to get comfy at night, my increased sex drive , registering for our baby shower and most of all the birth. So hopefully little Aliana will be here during his 2 weeks! I gotta think positive on that one.

You are just a little ahead of me. I'm 26 weeks today! Less than 100 days to go! This is going by so fast!

How have you been feeling? Do you know if it's a boy or girl?

AIT differs depending on the MOS and how long it take to get into classes. But he went straight from BCT to AIT, so that added 12 weeks. Then it took him 3 weeks to get into classes once he arrived at Ft. Gordon. And he was a lucky one!

I hope DH wins the race too... Baby is due 1 week after DH is supposed to arrive home, but I'm not getting my hopes too high, I know how dates can change.
