Sooo depressed! - Deployment Support Groups

So I just wanted to say I hate deployments. This is the worst one yet. Well it feels that way anyways. I have been through quite a few but for some reason this one just started about a month ago and its just not getting any better. Anyone out there relate? I need more people knowing how I feel b/c all of my friends and family are so sick of hearing me lol. I know there has to be someone else feeling what I feel ahhhh.....

I am 7 month into my first deployment-he was home 2 wks ago--and now I am miserable. He calls every day and seems distant and cold--he does seem to talk to me. I ask he what is up? he says nothing....i am so confused and really lonely.

This is my 1st deployment...but it has been horrible. I went once without any contact for 2 months. Right now I'm at 5 weeks. It's just about ruined my morale and I really just don't know anymore...

I know deployments are tough. I'm sorry you feel so down and depressed. I wish there was a magic cure for Deployment Blues but you just have to find your inner strenght and choose to be positive. It's tough and being sad can seem to be the easiest thing to do, but you also shouldn't be miserable for too long- it's not good for you

I hope it gets easier fast

This is my first deployment..And I felt the same way about a month after he left it got worse for me..And it didn't make sense to me...After that month passed it started to get better..I still have my down days but it's not as hard as it was earlier..

Sorry youre having a rough time this go around

My philosophy is why be sad and mopey, when that wont change him being gone. Id rather be happy, positive and proactive...make the best out of what is given to me.
Stay busy, time will pass before you know it!
