SOOO! I have conquered half of this deployment. DH even came home for r&r and we had a cute lil vacay! Everyone was telling me "OH ITS GOING TO FLY BY AND BE SOO MUCH EASIER NOW THAT HE HAS HIT THE HALFWAY MARK". Now im

because its barely moving! I have never seen such long days in my life! Do you know its still half a calendar left. I just want to

every freaking person that told me that! I am soo upset.

It is like its the stupidest thing in the world, but its like I cant help but looking at the clock wondering when the hell its going to start speeding up! Not to mention im just extremely tired and i need a hug! I hate this! Then my friend calls me and is like oh my db is going to be home 4 months early because its the end of his tour!

Thanks for the whole comfort I asked for! UGH I HATE THIS WAITING!!!

It's probably tough after R&R because you had him and now he's gone again, but soon time WILL start to fly by! It's all downhill from here!

The best thing I have found is to try not to focus on it. The more busy I stay, the more the time is flying by! I do feel your pain though...DF and I met up in May for his leave overseas, spent almost two full weeks together traveling Europe, and got engaged!!! It is now almost August, and to be honest, it feel like time is flying by...because I am not dwelling on it. I don't look at the donut thingy, I don't count-down the weeks/days/months, I simply trick my brain into not focusing on how slow time can go by.

It sucks, I know! There was 5 months without seeing him, then 2 weeks together, and now another 5 months without him again...

try to hang in there

i agree with soldier's girl. it seems to be hard but you have to be strong and positive again after rnr. i havent had mine yet and it has been more than our halfway already. keep yourself busy as much as you can. if you think about it too much, then of course the time would seem like its going on a snail pace. hang in there.

Im trying to stay busy and everything but since I dont work and I dont know anyone, it kinda sucks! MY daughter and I are basically sitting around!
