Hello everyone!
Hope everyone is doing ok! It's been awhile since I've visited and I have missed reading your posts and learning from your experiences. I am definitely going to need your wisdom for this deployment. I am studying abroad- in Turkey- and left before DB did. Ouch- that hurt. This trip is a great distraction but compared to the last deployment, I have had drastically less communication with DB.When do you start to worry about your SO? After two weeks of no communication? Three?
I know that it is a different place but am wondering how you all handle the inconsistent emails, etc. I email him everyday and I am beginning to take it personally- which is so silly! Phone calls are out of the question- it would be too expensive for him.
This is the second time we have been separated but the first time that I have been away from all that is familiar (family, friends, air conditioning
) and would love some friendly advice. Thanks, y'all!
