My first deployment. - Deployment Support Groups

Hello. I'm new to the site. I googled deployment support groups and this site came up. I'm waaay down in Florida with no nearby Army post to run to, my parents are PCSing to Korea and my husband is gone for 12 months starting today.

I dropped my husband off at the air port today. This is the worst experience of my life. I honestly don't know how to bounce back from this. Things are looking pretty dark and grim right now. A year seems so long.

I'm not even sure if I'm using this site right. I tried to post something a minute ago and I can't figure out where it went....

my name is savannah and i am currently going through my first deployment. You did post correctly and welcome! We are all here to support each other along the way! No matter how long you and your SO are apart always remember your love that you share, that will keep you strong.

Hi! im Abby i am currently going thru my first deployment with my DB in Iraq! you will love MSOS it will get you thru the hard times you never thought you would get thru! i am always a PM away if you need anything

to msos! this is an awesome place for deployment support, and making friends in general. i literally found my best friend here!

i'm also going through my first deployment, and the very beginning is the toughest so far.

you can get through this and stay strong for your DH.
