Military Relationship articles/stories

Hey everyone

For about a year, I have had my long distance relationship advice site and have come to realize that the number of members that are in military relationships has grown tremendously. Even though I have little military relationship experience, I feel obligated to give these members a special page just for them with helpful resources, stories, and tips.

I knew it would be best to reach out directly to those in military relationships and ask for help so I can help others.

I was wondering if anyone here would like to contribute stories or articles about deployment and military relationships to the new military LDR section of my website:

I have read through a lot of the forum before posting and see the awesome bonds that have developed here, and will certainly recommend MilitarySOS.com as a great support group and community for military significant others.

I hope you don't just breeze by this post, this is the only military forum where I will be asking for help.

What kind of stories and articles are you looking for? Long distance military relationships is sadly a pretty board topic because there are many different reasons why loved ones get separated like deployments, relocations, short-term and long-term trainings, schools, overseas orders...

On the link I provided, I say specifically what kind of stories.

I'd love to have people share <b>"A Day in the Life of a US Army Girlfriend"</b> etc, etc.... not just army, but navy, marines, air force, West Point, etc, etc. By anyone, wife/girlfriend/boyfriend/husband.

I think those stories would help people new to military relationships. It gives them an idea of what military life will be like.

hey msos... i'm doing some writing for michelle, her site is pretty small but def has some cute stuff up for ppl in LDRs. she wants to include a special military section with info on deployments, care packs, etc.

i know its the same thing we do here, but i have no problem in helping out other sites... and what better source than straight from the horse's mouth?? hehe.
