Oh yeah DH said that it's not too bad there..He just hates being so far away from the babies and I.

DF has been there a couple months. He's not liking it too much. This is the first time over there in the Guard he had been there several times while in the Corps. He's having a rough time because he is missing the entire pregnancy, but should be home for the birth.. Will be cutting it close

This is my 4th deployment but i'm use to the navy not army. Can't believe it has been almost 2 months already though next thing i will know the baby and DF will almost be here

My DB and cousin just complain of the bordom and sometimes the silly crap they make them do, but I'm glad boredom is the only thing that they have to deal with.. :-)

DH is there for the second time. We are early in it so we have quite a while left until he should come home.

No he doesn't like it over there

but I guess he would rather be there than Afghanistan. He has missed a lot of stuff, the baby walking etc, and he will miss the new baby being born and all that too.

He really likes this unit though, they look out for each other more. According to him the unit he went over with last time was not like that at all.

Good, breathing and counting the days until R&R so I can start counting the days until I get him back for a while longer than two weeks!

*raising hand* My DH is in Iraq. He left about a month ago. This is our 5 deployment and his second time deploying to Iraq. He doesn't hate it, but there are so many places he'd rather deploy to. But he's staying pretty positive about everything.

I'm staying with my family so that has helped a little with the ache in my heart, but it never really goes away, and it seems to get worse the longer he's gone. I saw a couple hugging today and it made me sad.

I miss the hugging and the cute text messages he used to send me . I miss that i can just call him up when im having a bad day..wonderful deployment
