Falling apart - Deployment Support Groups

Mike left 2 days ago and today he texted me to wish me luck on my job interview and i dont know why but it made it harder for me i just broke down in my bathroom...i couldnt get off the floor cuz i was crying so hard..i dont know if i can do this for 7 months...it feels like my world if falling apart...i cant sleep at night i just stay up all night...is there something wrong with me

nothing is wrong with you the first months is always the hardest. you gotta remember you are his rock and he is yours. he is probably hurting just as much as you are right now. take a deep breath and talk to someone. my inbox is open. i can talk all night if you need to. i remember this feeling. it will get better

Alan left this morning and I'll I've done is cry. I listened to a voicemail he left me about a 100 times and I've written him a letter and an email so far and i put together a care package.

oh hunny, it does get easier!!! the first month or so is the hardest! you can make it!!!

The first month is so difficult. I cried over anything and everything. You can do this though. Time passes and you become an even stronger version of yourself.

we had marine recruiters on campus today and when i saw the guys standing there in uniform i lost it, i miss him so much and he's not even be gone 24 hours

No there is nothing wrong with you it is normal you have to stay strong though. It will get easier. You can do it just remind yourself it is not forvever and it will be so great to see him after 7 months you will feel like you just met again for the first time. you will have butterflies in your stomach it is a great feeling hang in there
