    another song for deployment...

    Everywhere I Go

A good bit of me sleeps underneath in the bed of my soul
lying next t o belief if I toss where I lay I might turn her away
So I try to still fall dreamin' someday I will
wake up with you beside me with all of your love inside me
so when I am gone it guides me on

Everywhere I go I take you with me sweet darlin'
Everywhere I go you know I take you with me

A good bit of me keeps to the sky On the back of a cloud Unaware of how high
If I stay where I lay I might drift away soon
From the pull of the sun I am full of the moon
But baby your the one who grounds me When the sounds of this world surround me
Your love it took a look and found me Lost and on my own

Baby I always try looking at life through open eyes
Baby my dreams came true with the treasure I found inside of you

old song, but it just hit me that it relates to deployment...i'm so tired...night ladies

    check out this one.....

Til I see you again : Mark Schultz and Jim Brick

    The only voice that's speaking,
    Words I can't recall,
And I do still believe if I believe in anything at all.
    Are you hearing me
    and are you here?

I thought I saw you walking
    Down my street yesterday.
I thought I heard your voice though
I could not hear just what you say
    and I am waiting
I am waiting here for you

    Chorus:
    I am whispering your name.
I am turning to the wind
Your love has brought me here
    Til' I see you again

    I am opening the door
I will let this moment in
Your love will find me here
    Til' I see you again

    Verse 2:
    And I can still remember
As I write down these words
    The music in your voice
and the silence of the universe
    and I am singing.
I am singing here for you.

    Chorus:
    I am whispering your name
I am turning to the wind
Your love has brought me here
    Til' I see you again

    I am opening the door
I will let this moment in
Your love will find me here
    Til' I see you again

    Chorus Interlude:
    I am whispering your name
I am turning to the wind
Your love can find me here
    Til' I see you again

    I am opening the door
I will let this moment in
Your love can find me here
    Til' I see you again

Have you heard the southern rock song "Alabama" by Cross Canadian Ragweed. It is perfect! It talks about laying there being obsessed about the phone ringing and missing all the small things you would give anything for...but not in too sad of a way. Very catchy song. A lot of girls have it as their myspace song.
