We went from a 6 month deployment to a year now.
A ****ing year.

I'm not even worried about me so much as Lorelai. She's so little and only knows him by scent and sound of his voice. By the time he comes back she'll be walking and possibly talking and not know him at all. She's going to be afraid of him.

Yup he decided to spring that on me tonight. After this afternoon telling me he didn't know when he was leaving.

And he didn't even willingly tell me. I had to say something about it being like 3 1/2 weeks and away and he's like no. I'm leaving between *** and***. I'm like WTF?!?! When did you plan on telling me you knew when you were leaving?!?!?!

I'm traveling.

I'm going home to MA and VA for the holidays and then I'm going to visit Jen in Hawaii in Feb. And then I haven't planned that far ahead because he was originally supposed to be home in April.
