March/April Deployments? - Deployment Preparation

Anyone else out there??

I know it's a few months away but I hope I'm not alone.

Last week, DF was out in the field for the "official start" of his deployment preparation. As what he said.

My DH leaves March

They took him away for training (NTC) all this month

How long will yours be gone for? Iraq or Afghanistan?

DF is headed out to the field Monday to Monday for training, he is going to Afghanistan. He's not entirely sure how long he'll be out there for, he tells me one thing, but I know things can change so I tend not to believe it.

Just wanted to say

ladies. It goes by faster than you think.

Enjoy every spare moment that you have left with your SO before he leaves, can't get it back when he's gone.

my db should be getting deployed then. hopefully we can get married before he goes. if you ever wanna talk im always on

Does any of your DB/DF/DH 's go into pre-deployment training A LOT??? I feel like DF is in the field all the time

I guess it's better than rarely going on to not get them prepared, but still at least let them talk to us! This week is dragging!!

Because of DB's job in the army, he's not involved in much (any?) field training. But lately there have been more meetings he's been in about the upcoming deployment

It just reminds me that it will be a reality in the next few months.

DF doesn't even know of anything yet, all he knows is where and during the month of March at some point. It's like if only they knew every smidge of detail.
