Thinking of Christmas - Deployment Preparation

Just wondering what all ya's are doing for your SO for Christmas, I wanna get DF stuff he can use not just a bunch of crap for him to lug around. Any ideas?

I am having this dilemma, since DB may or may not be here. Either way I'm trying to get stuff he can take with him. I'm thinking of an Ipod nano loaded with his music, pictures, and a couple videos of me with cute messages. Another thought I had was taking his organizer/personal hygiene bag or getting a different one and sewing pictures in that are printed on fabric. That way they cant get ruined and aren't an extra think to keep track of.

J's b-day and Christmas are less than a month apart, so I haven't decided what I'm giving when. Here's the list of ideas so far:
Membership to the shooting range near his house
Ammunition for his shotgun, rifle, and/or handgun
A clay shooting vest from Cabelas
The new Call of Duty game for XBox 360 that comes out next month
Madden NFL 10 for XBox 360 (provided he doesn't buy it for himself before then)
A couple's massage (definitely a b-day gift since I'm surprising him with this on our trip to Boston for his b-day weekend)
And I was going to get him Redskins tickets, but he is a ticked off fan and refuses to watch them right now.

DH is getting a wii for his birthday next month...so I dunno how I'll top that at christmas...I'll figure something out. Nothing too extreme cause I know I won't be getting anything too magical lol

My DB is a die hard St. Louis Cardinals fan so im going to find some cute cards stuff! Also keeping with that theme i want to get him a jersey, but im not sending it to him, im going to take pics of me in his jersey so he could see me and his present and he can wear it when we go to games together!!

for db's birthday, i sent him a pocketwatch engraved with his initials and set to home time and a rc helicopter (which he asked for lol). i've also sent him a set of engraved dogtags with a sweet quote and our names and the army emblem, etc. those are the bigger things. other than that, i make sure to always send him his favorite goodies. he loves grape kool-aid and he can't get it there, so i send him like four or five boxes of the singles in every package.

for christmas, i have no idea what i'm going to get this boy! the other day, he asked me for a $500 power tool set (jokingly). i might just give him a gift card to sears and let him go crazy when he comes home.
