I talked to DH today and apparently they're running behind schedule by a lot. He says he has no idea how much longer they will be
I was supposed to be picking him up in a few days. I just really want him back because every extra day he's there is one less day we get to spend as a family before he deploys. I know, I know. I'm being a baby. I need to just suck it up and get over it since there's nothing I can do about it. I just was really getting excited about seeing him again.

No, it does stink. Last time my husband went to JRTC they were missing something, and they had to find it before they could leave. They kept everyone, not just the unit that it was missing from. I think they got to come home 4 days later once they found it. I was pretty annoyed, they were deploying and we were stationed at Polk at the time too.

Thanks. Hopefully, your DH gets home soon. Hopefully it's one of those things where they tell them that so they pack up quicker, and they actually get to come home on time.

Really? That's weird...my boyfriend is at Bliss too and he will be back Wednesday. He said some guys aren't making it home until next Saturday though.
