Nov. deployment - Deployment Preparation

Hi, this is only my third post so please bear with me on this. DB leaves early Nov. for the first time and I have very little idea what to expect. Right now we're long distance and i'm making desprite attempts to possibly maybe see him before he leaves for " the sandbox". And then on top of all this in feb. I! leave for basic and won't be able to talk to him for a few weeks.
hugs are very much appreciated at this point
as is any advise in coping

Take it one day at a time. Enjoy the time you have now. There will be bad days but you'll adjust. Send care packages, letters, and invest in a webcam.

You can do this.

first time deployment in early november too!
