I just don't know what to say... - Deployment Preparation

So I found out yesterday that the middle of November is goodbye for like 14 months I think... or something like that. I don't really know how to describe how I feel... like I feel like we can deal with this, because we were long-distance for 4 months this summer. It's just now we've been living together, and I thought we would be able to at least finish out the semester... I feel like time just slipped through my fingers, and it's not even close to his deployment yet...

I am thankful that DB's mission is less dangerous than being out on the battlefields or something... but I dunno... I'm just trying to keep myself together I guess... especially because I know I'm not alone here...

So yeah... I guess I'll be seeing a lot of you girls pretty soon... I think I just really want a hug...

enjoy what time you do have left with him. and then come deployment...take it one say at a time. you can do it

i felt exactly like you a few months ago. the only way i could make the most of the time i had until he deployed was basically avoid thinking about it. i didn't want to know the date until like the week before, or else i would have just dwelled on it and subconsciously counted down the days

i don't know if that will work for you or not...but just try to make the most of the time left until he deployed.
and...take a LOT of pictures! i wish i had taken many more, even just sitting around!

14 months is crazy for navy deployments.

The anticipation was the worst part, at least for me. Try to enjoy the time you have together.

Enjoy your next few months. After that, just take it one day at a time. Its not easy by any means but you can do it!
