this is major too! the news stations already announced its 8mths because of the enterprize and also the nitmenz or something like that off of the west coast is going to be doing the same too. the problem is.. they should already be gone! now they are here for months again... then leave trust me i love him being home and want him home... but this is our last deployment for a while and id rather get it over with! urg btw my names ashley too.

That's awesome that the news announced it was 8 months... I'm not sure about the Enterprise. Some of our friends are on it and they said that it's nowhere near being ready to come out of the yards. I wish I could tell you what's going on but I don't know it's frustrating! I'd rather get it done too-- workups for 14 months!?! No thank you! |

yeah they are going to be in the yards for quite a while! thats why they are putting off our deployment. they are guessing the enterprize should be done about two-three months before ours gets back from deployment.. i dont understand why they are doing so much work on it and pending millions of dollars when they are not doing anymore deployments after this. its crap. but after this deployment is our big yard period.. like the multi yr one. do you go to the frg meetings?

Yeah I know what you mean...
I'm a bad friend, I let my friend go and try to get the useful info out of her, haha. I had a really bad experience with the Ombudsman last deployment, when they literally "lost" my husband in transit somewhere when he was supposed to be coming home for surgery she told me it wasn't "any of my business"... she wouldn't call the ship for me. She was an absolute doll. |
