He's leaving so soon......He's gone

I feel like I"m going to lose it. I can't believe he's going to be gone for 7 months or maybe even more. I feel like the world is going to stop. I"m so damn scared.

I just wanted to thank you ladies for all your support. He's gone, and I don't really know what to think or feel. I would be balling right now but my head feels like its going to explode. I hope that it gets easier. And I really hope that time flies. I miss him so much already.

I agree.. Before he deployed was worse than anything I've experienced during the deployment so far.

Just take it one day at a time. Keep busy whether it's 7 months, 15 or 12 it's all still a deployment. I'm here if ya need me Take a deep breathe it'll all be over before ya know it! Like it was said in a previous post, the beginning is the worst part, and the anticipation if far worse then the actual deployment itself. Just calm down, it'll be over before ya know it girl!

I think this is true. I was freaking out leading up to the deployment but since he's been gone, it hasn't been nearly as bad. The first few days were stressful just because I was waiting to hear something...anything from him so that I knew that I knew that he had made it okay. Since then, it hasn't been too bad...then again, I'm only a week in...he's only been able to call twice but he emails everyday. We were already LDR so it's kind of the same as when he was in Hawaii. It'll be okay. The sooner you start, the sooner it's over.

you can absolutely do this! once they leave it's almost like a sense of relief because you can finally feel like you're making progress.
