It's our turn
I didn't think I would be posting in here for aabout another year but I was wrong. We were told today that we need to be prepared for a deployment next month. I don't know if it has sunk in yet I'm not to upset. We talked about it and he is gunna do his thing while I do my school and work and stay busy. He said he know's I'm strong and we will do fine. I'm a little nervous cause this is our first deployment.
 It should only be for a couple months. I don't know. . . I feel so bi-polar one moment I'm ok and the next it bothers me I don't know I guess thats normal to have mixed feelings about it.

You'll be alright don't worry. And I felt like that too when DB told me... though I was a bit angry too because he hid it from me for 3 months :/ but I guess it was for the better... he said he didnt want me to worry until he was gettng ready to leave. ha. Anyway just stay really busy and spend as much time together as you can before he leaves. If you need anyone to talk to... you can PM me :] btw my name is Bree and we're going through our first deployment right now, he left in March and should be home in March

Its going to be ok . The pre-deployment is the worst part. You will make it through this , we will help you too! My Guy is USMC too. I never thought I would get to the point I am now... and I am almost done. So just keep busy and you HC will be here sooner than you think.

oh my god I know what you mean about the bipolar aspect of this all. Dh is gearing up for a deployment within the next few months and sometimes I'm ok with it, but normally when someone wants to talk to me about it I just start bawling.
We will get through this if we all stay strong!

For me, as much as I didn't want my husband to leave, the last few days were the worst. I was always teary eyed and everything got to me. It got to the point to where I kinda wished he was already gone so that he could hurry up and come back home to me.
