I cant believe it. - Deployment Preparation

I cant believe that its already time. We are about to celebrate 6 months of being married and have a 2 month old baby and he got the call today that orders are on their way.

Its surreal.

I watched him get the call and before he had even hung up the phone I knew what was said.

I cant believe hes leaving.

I've been through a deployment before with an ex bf, but this time... this is my husband.

I'm so worried about him missing all of baby boys firsts. And what if Alec doesnt remember him...

Why now!!!!

there's never a "good" time for them to go, theyre always going to miss something, and that sucks.

I wish that I had some words of wisdom for you - but it seems like deployments NEVER come at a good time.

Hang in there. YOu know how things can change. Hopefully it'll get pushed back.
