home alone
hey girls. my hubby and i are coming up on the time for him to leave....3 months during the summer for training and then prob 7-8 in county. ive always lived with someone (family/ college roommate/ hubby), so im really nervous about having to live on my own while he's gone. i know its going to be a huge adjustment-i try not to think of it lately, but i know once he's gone its going to hit me like a brick. any advice? i have a dog, thank goodness, so he's here with me, but i guess im just going to have to get used to living with the silence of an empty house and cooking for one, lol
any help, support, or encouragement would be REALLY appreciated thanks!marianne |

I never lived alone either, I was still getting settled into living with him when he left...it was weird to live alone and get all of my stuff put away and all...it's kind of fun...aside from the missing him like crazy
I didn't think I could do it honestly...I was terrified...but I'm doing it! You'll be fine

I agree keep busy. Scrapbook or read.. take up a hobby you can do in your free time that you normally would be spending w/ SO. IT really does go fast looking back, but in the moment it goes slow.

STAY BUSY! I never was alone until dh did boot and I freaked, it was a huge change. If you don't think you will feel safe you may want to get a security system.
