packing list - Deployment Preparation

does anyone have a packing list for what to take on deployment with him? DH is on subs.

I got one the other day at the Pre-D meeting... but now I can't find it. Are you having one of those meetings where you can pick one up?

Some things that I know dh will be taking are:

*The HUGE Ziplock bags to keep his civilian clothes in to try to keep the boat smell off them.
*A lockbox for his passport, wallet, and other important things.
*A working wedding band instead of his nice one.
*His laptop, iPod, computer games, and DVDs.
*Cigars
*A Rack Pack
*A twin size quilt in addition to his navy issue stuff
*His digital camera with extra memory cards so he can mail them back when they're full when they pull in ports.
*Stick up LED lights for in his rack
*A ton of Cliff bars

I know there is more... I'll keep thinking.

I'm sure we'll be having a predeployment meeting but I just want to get a head start on picking up stuff.

They should give him one. Have him ask around. They generally tell them exactly what they can and cant take and how much of each
