Aww, well stockings are important for the pups, too! Silly, but sometimes those things get the better of all of us every now and then. I usually stay away from people when I'm moods like that. I'd rather not be on the 5 o'clock news for playing bumper cars on the freeway or beating down innocent people.

Funny story: Last week I got DH's truck out of the garage, and filled it up with gas (I had a 50c/per gallon off). I parked it in the driveway instead of putting it back in the garage. Today my neighbor (her hubby just retired from the marines in October) took me out to lunch and to the new mall. She goes "I have to ask...who's truck is that?" I was like "Oh it's ours" and I proceeded to tell her about the gas story. She says "that's what I thought but I had to ask because [her 20 something son who lives there too] was really worried that you might have a guy spending the night"

I found this so heartwarming. He's looking out for DH and he's paying attention to my house. We live out in the middle of nowhere so it's nice to know people are watching out for me, even if they think I'm cheating on my husband in the process

Thanks! It was nice. I hung out with the dogs, watched dark shadows and magic mike, made bacon wrapped jalepeno poppers. It was a good day!

How's Monday going?

I am doing good. I got some news about homecoming so I am I never thought I'd be nervous for him coming home, but I really did get used to him just being a voice on the phone. It's going to be so weird (in a fantastic way) to have him in the flesh......

Monday was okay. It's been a tumultuous past week for me, honestly. I finally *think* I got the swift kick in my behind to snap out of it. Ran my usual 9 minute miles again tonight.

A nine minute mile is impressive! I have gotten to ten, but usually I take the slow steady pace of 12
