I'm up in the mountains with a group of great friends, eating and drinking and laughing a whole lot! I got my infamous choc chip and pretzel cookies in the oven . Life is good!

    What are you up to??

Hey friend! Sorry I was MIA this weekend! I was celebrating 3 months of deployment done by taking a weekend trip with DBs mom and my mom. I just got back and now I need to sleep since I have to go to work like a grown up

We went to an old historic hotel, did some wine tasting, went to a casino, and shopped. I am le tired.

omg that is so amazing, that you *celebrated* the 3 month mark with your mom and future MIL Sounds like a good time!

I came back to NYC last night, and got thrown right back into reality today with 10 hr workday....I'm so beat. My brain is fried. I cant' even think about what I want for dinner LOL.

Lol, HOPEFULLY future MIL We will see. I didn't actually wind up going to work today because I have a raging cold. Its pretty epic. But at least I am able to breathe without the help of meds now so thats good.

So what is your job since you have such long workdays? I would be exhausted!

oh noooo!!!!! I hope you feel better
I hate being sick. I have "almost" gotten sick twice this winter already. I started drugging myself with advil, zycam, and airborne and thankfully it didn't get too bad.

I work for the Dept of Education. We are creating 2 new programs right now that is keeping me super crazy busy.
I don't plan to have any children of my own, so this is my contribution to our kids and our future

I see that you are getting your broker license! I never known a girl to do that. What made you choose that profession? What do you now?

Hey! I am JUST now feeling better. Finally on the tail end of this cold.

Sounds great with creating the new programs! I spent 3 years as a music education major so I know that work that can go into those things.

I kind of fell into this profession. My degree is in music yet here I am in finance. Its a nice stable field and I have lots of opportunity to grow so I am very appreciative of the job I have and the company I work for. I want to get my brokers license before DB gets back from deployment since I plan on moving out to be with him and it will be easier for me to find a job with more training

Any plans for the weekend? Mine is pretty open, I got my yearly bonus so all I have on my list is to shop!
