Marine Deployment Buddy - Deployment Pals

Looking for someone who is a Marine S/O who's S/O has left in the past week for Afghanistan. I've had a few ladies that I have been talking with and greatly appreciate it but wondering if someone actually wanted to be my "buddy" during this deployment. It's been a hard weekend and I can't talk with friends because they just don't understand. This is all so very new to me so I could use the support buddy.

Any takers?

My Marine isn't in Afghanistan but he is deployed. How long will your SO be gone?

My Marine is about to retire, but he'll be heading to Afghanistan for a contracting job for a year in about 5 weeks.

Last deployment, I had a thread dedicated just to his MEU on here.... but this time, he's a contractor.

My girls in that thread got me through!
