I'm jealous of all you California girls- I'm from Nebraska (and no, there is NOT a cornfield in my back yard)! =) Currently, I'm in turkey and would love to chat with girls who know what it's like to date a guy in the military! I live in northern Illinois. Have two adorable little boys with another little one due in October. I think the only thing that will get me thru this deployment, sane, is this website and sending care packages.

Hey, we got our own fun here in Nebraska!!

Im Heather, on my first deployment (as of 1 day ago) with DB, his 80 millionth deployment. Im in Nebraska, and I too do not have a cornfield in my backyard, but there is one about a block away, and I work across the street from one, and our base is surrounded by them. Anywho, since Ive never been thru one of these, I know Im going to go completly insain, at least until the school year starts and DB's son comes back from his grandparents. Im in need of a friend!!!

Hii!!! Im not originally originally from Nebraska, but Ive been here for 15 out of my 24 years. I was a military brat, spent some time in at Carswell AFB. Its awesome that Im not the only NE girl on here!!!
