In need of a pal - Deployment Pals

Hi. My DB is on a year deployment and I have been doing pretty well so far. Yesterday was the worst though. I think I cried practically all day. I would like a deployment pal if anyone is interested. Thanks!

is this the first deployment that you are going through? i feel the same way even though SO will be home soon. this is my first deployment that i have dealt with and it has been up and down for me. if any one wants to talk or anything, feel free to pm me.

He's only been gone for 7 days. Yeah I feel a bit rediculous. He's in TX right now doing predeployment training and will be going to Kuwait after that. This is our first deployment as a couple, his second. He went to Afganistan last time.

don't feel ridiculous, i felt depressed the first night that me and SO were apart. i cried my eyes out, still do sometimes. i think you just need to take it one day at a time and i have found that talking about what i am going through with one of my friend (who is in the same boat as me) has helped. finding this site has also been a blessing. the support on here is amazing. keep your head up.
