deployment pal

i want a deployment pal! any one else starting to go through a deployment soon? this will be our first deployment. as of right now DF will be deploying on a 12 month deployment, we can only hope it stays that way our deployment will start within the next couple of weeks and i'd love to have a deployment pal to go through this with. let me know if you would want to be my deployment pal!

Thanks for the hug.I am hanging in there. What really hurt was when he called from the green ramp.I lost it then.What really is going to take some getting used to is knowing I can't pick up the phone and call him.

awh.... that makes me so sad to hear! i bet it's not easy being able to pick up the phone and call him whenever... that's going to take me awhile to get use to. right now i'm actually spending time with DF in texas before the deployment. work was nice enough to give me three weeks off, we will be starting our deployment within the next two weeks

how long of deployment are you and your DB on?

It is hard.Because all I want to do is pick up the phone and call him.But I can't.My DB will be gone one year. Your lucky to be able to see your DB before he leaves. The national guard screwed me and my DB over. He was not supposed to leave until April 15 and they went and changed it.and I did not get to see him before he left

that does suck they changed all the dates on you two at the last moment.... i've slowly learned the army loves to do that. my DF used to be in the national guard untill he joined active army this past may.

so how did you met your DB?! beings i see your located in maryland and he's in north carolina

Yeah I was so mad that they did that.I met my DB on the internet.We were both members of a website that had chatrooms. And I saw his profile.And I showed interest in him.As time went.by. I never heard back from him.So I figured he was not interested.And one night I went into the chatroom and there he was.And the reason why I had not heard back from him.he had been training in maryland
