Not news, maybe debatable? Anyway, this popped up on my FB feed this morning and I just can't stop reading! I think this might be a great site for our MODS to use if needed, as well as some newbies that just started dating, you never know, they may be on the site!

I think what they are doing is AWESOME!

I was literally just looking at this site before I came on here! I applaud what there doing. Faking or embellishing service in the armed forces is disgraceful.

I'm not all that concerned about stolen valor. Uniforms and medals don't make the (wo)man, IMO. I'm not a huge fan of sites like this that put scummy people on blast (like this or the ones for cheaters, etc). Stolen valor is a crime, yes? They should just be reported to the proper authorities. That's just my take though.

Yeah I have an issue with these kinds of sites as well. Not sure exactly what it is that sits wrong with me but yeah...

Yeah the comments are very nasty. But I did like how some of these didn't just put shitty people on blast. They helped these people not get away with making it into news stories about their "heroism". One Helped a girl who was being scammed. In that way it's good. And I also like it because it's kind of a train wreck.

I'm conflicted. It's good that people may be able to avoid getting scammed, but I hate those sites that put "cheaters" on blast for the public, especially since only one side of the story is presented.
