    It reminds me of the boy who got suspended for chewing his poptart in the shape of a gun..I agree that in light of recent events steps should be taken to ensure safety, but it seems some schools are going a bit far.

    I'm not making that connection. The boy's poptart wasn't going to actually shoot anyone. This young woman's bomb had the potential to have far more serious consequences.

    I definitely agree there should be a punishment, but expulsion and felony charges seem extreme. Of course this is assuming she really was doing it just to see what would happen.
