No. What we've heard from transgendered people is that they never felt right in their biological, and it actually intensifies and gets worse during puberty.

Possibly. It just seems like a hell of a thing to deal with.

it doesnt work like that. she's not gonna wake up one morning and feel differently about it. its how she is. she was born in the wrong body.

I only have the experience of my one friend to go off of, but she said this too. It nearly drove her to suicide because she wanted to be out so badly, and enjoy the female bonding that happens during puberty.

yeah... it's well documented that gender dysphoria is usually apparent from a very, very young age. she's not going to have a change of feeling or some shit. that's not something puberty does. i just hope she's able to remain as confident and happy while her body changes.

I guess I'm just not open minded enough to wrap my head around it all.

i wonder what the youngest age someone was ever allowed to transition at was?
it would be such an easier path for her if she could start taking hormones and whatnot before the whole puberty change.

I firmly believe that a person's sexuality is "chosen" at birth but I don't think I would let my child change their body to fit the gender they'd rather be that young. Kids & society are already cruel & 11 years old is so young to make any drastic change so I would prefer for my child to wait until they are at least in their mid to late teens.

"Thank you so much. No matter what, nothing is possible without you behind the scenes bustin heads and takin names. Thank you again. Everything you have done for me means a lot and nothing has gone unnoticed. I love you so much and thank you for saying 'I do.'"

Imagine having a penis but everything about your personality be female. It's really not complicated. Vaginas and boobs have so little to do with what makes us females.

I'm glad she has her family behind her. Those are the relationships that last throughout ones life, anyhow (typically).
