How early is too early? - Debates

[to put out Christmas/Winter decorations???] My husband and I got into an argument this afternoon about this. We are going to have to fight to the [not even really near] death to decide who is right.

He thinks since it's still fall there's really no point. I retorted with the fact that it's still technically fall until days before Christmas.

I want to enjoy everything for longer than a month this year!!!

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer. People do different things at different times.

We put our tree up before Thanksgiving last year. People thought we were nuts, but we were able to take our time and enjoy it. We loved it and will probably do the same this year!!

To each their own, I say!! Who cares!

All I know is I bought really cute christmas decorations on sale last week, and I already want to put them up!

I start decorating Dec. 1. Before that it seems to early for me, but I also decorate for Thanksgiving so December is about when I get around to taking all of that down.

Yes!

I think part of my problem with waiting this year is that we already started buying decorations since they're out and on sale. It put me in the mood.

Another reason is Mike was deploying right after the holidays last year and so I dreaded the whole season. I'm so relieved he's home this year I want to relish in it.

Plus I'm freaking impatient.
