Seriously - this is really bothering me and I didn't want to turn the original post into a snark fest and I figured this will get heated so here it is in debates.

I find it horrid that we have a post about getting drunk and the majority of the responders are under the legal age for drinking. And posting photos of how ****ed up they are.

It's illegal to drink if you are not 21 or older and it's embarrassing (I think) for this site to have a post showcasing such horrid behavior.

Personally, I don't think its anyone's business to approve or disapprove of anyone's behaviors so long as the behaviors in question aren't hurting other people.

That's not directed at you, but I don't think when I choose to drink, I engage in "horrid behavior." I've seen plenty of grown adults do that... it's not limited to people under the drinking age.

I think the drinking age should be lower anyway. I think it's really unrealistic to think that there isn't a ton of underage drinking going on given that most students are in college for about three years before they hit 21.

I don't really care if others choose to drink before they are of legal age. I don't think it is embarrassing for the site but it might be embarrassing for the posters if someone they don't want seeing that sort of thing see's it. I don't really think it is my business what others want to drink or if they talk about it.

It's not about approval; it's about showcasing and bragging about illegal activities and the fact that such a thread is a bad public image for military SO's.

Personally, I think what other people do in their free time is their business. I'm just not one to poke my nose in other people's business.

I agree with you to an extent. I was a big time underage drinker, and I have no room to talk when it comes to that, but taking pictures and posting them on the internet is a whole other story. I find it cringe worthy. How many people who are of age take pictures and say "look how drunk I was!!!!!!" and then post them? Not many, cause it's embarrassing. And stupid.

I just think most of the people who are lying on the ground, or catatonic in pictures realize how NOT FUN that looks, and how it is really kinda scary. I hope they know that those pictures aren't FUN to everyone, they look depressing and sad to me.
