Are cloth diapers REALLY economical?

Yes. Economical for sure... and more ecofriendly. People try to say the water usage is so much more, but ours is only 2 extra small loads a week... I find it hard to believe that all Bella's poopy and pee'd diapers which don't decompose well in landfill's is somehow better. lol. I also line dry 99% of the time.

I think that they are, yes. Especially if you use the same diapers with multiple children.
I had to buy smalls for Charlie because I wasn't planning on having another baby so soon after Simon when I got rid of my smalls from him, but I was able to save my larges because I was pregnant with Charlie while he was still using them, so I knew to save them. It isn't economical if you're getting the trendy diapers, but it can be done frugally. |
