No, you don't have to kill a chicken in order to eat it's eggs. Sure, one day the egg could very well turn into a chicken if fertilized but it's not a live animal. You don't have to kill a cow in order to drink it's milk or eat cheese that comes from cow/goat milk.

I don't even know what else to add to this post...

I guess that would depend on the reasons they are a vegetarian. If they do it for health reasons, then I don't see why not. However, I don't catch what you are saying even if you ASSUME that all vegetarians are vegetarians because they care about the lives of the animals, it is possible to drink the milk from and eat the eggs from an animal without taking its life.

Also, are pro-lifers who support the death penalty hypocrites? Hell, are pro-lifers who eat meat hypocrites? I guess you are going to have to explain the nuance of your argument here, because as it stands now, your argument makes no sense.

Also, there are a lot of vegetarians who aren't against eating meat because of the act of eating meat itself, they are against animal torture and so they don't eat meat because they don't agree with how animals are raised and slaughtered for meat.

Not all vegetarians are alike. It isn't for anyone else to say if they are a hypocrite.

Most milking cows go through more torture than the cows we eat (from show's I've seen)

I know a lot of vegetarians that don't eat meat because of the torture involved in the process of the animal growing up and then dying..

No, milk and eggs do not harm the animal they're taken from and are not themselves animals.

This isn't really shining a new light on yourself.
