More or less tolerant of abortion?

If you have kids, do you find that since getting pregnant/having your first, are you MORE, LESS, or equally tolerant of abortion?

Like, if you were dead set against abortion before you got pregnant, are you ok with it now? Even more dead set against it? Or have the exact same opinion as before?

Before getting pregnant, I tried for five years with my ex husband, so I thought NOBODY should have abortions, EVER. EVER, ever, ever. For any reason. People should APPRECIATE life, damn it!

Now that I'm pregnant, honestly, eh. What you do is your business. It sounds selfish to me, that my views changed so much when my situation changed, but that grieving and jealousy is gone, and now I don't feel like every baby that's aborted COULD have been MY baby, SHOULD have been MY baby, so while it still makes me sad, I'm more receptive to hearing/understanding the human aspect behind it, and the stories of the mothers, and not just the lost children.

I have the exact opinion of it that I've always had, it's your body and if you feel like you can't or shouldn't bring a child into this world then you have the right to have an abortion. But I feel like there should be rules and regulations on how many you can have and how late in the pregnancy you can have them.

I am much more understanding, though I do still think there should be a limit on how far along in the pregnancy abortions should be allowed.

I think being through six pregnancies, two miscarriages, and four births (one c-section).. I know how much pregnancy and childbirth can put you through and it is NOT my place to tell another woman that she has to go through all that.

I have learned it is not my business what other people do with their bodies. I was also 16 when I got preggo, very naive and thought I had all the answers. I know know different. What works for one person will not work for another.

It did change a little, I look at my daughter and I cannot imagine having one.
But as long as it's not my body, eh. ((I wouldn't want the gov't involved in my snatch issues. IMO))

My opinion has not changed even slightly since I was in high school about abortion. That has been almost 20 years.

I was pro-choice before. My pregnancy was AWFUL. Like, really terrible and I hated every moment of it, probably one of the worst experiences of my life. I can't imagine being in that situation when it was not a choice. I would feel terribly victimized if I were forced to be pregnant, I would be very depressed and probably feel like my life was over. Honestly. I cannot imagine inflicting that misery onto someone else against their will. It would seriously make me feel like an executioner. I seriously can't even convey how strongly I feel that pregnancy and all its complications MUST be a choice out of concern for mental health.

So I have become much more militant about my pro-choice views.

My opinion changed after I had an abortion. The emotional consequences are a hard thing to live with, and I didn't understand it fully when I had the procedure.
