Ok somebody
if there's a thread like this already lolI went to the theater yesterday and saw the movie Paranormal Activity. Here's what it is about so you know: http://www.paranormalactivity-movie.com/about.html
What are your views on "Paranormal Activity"? Do you believe in ghosts? How about demons? Angels? EDIT: Has anything ''paranormal'' ever happened to you?

I do believe in it but i have to see it happen infront of me. I guess the way I see it from what I heard usually the non believers are the ones that had something paranormal happen to them unless your like ghost hunters and like that stuff. I have some stuff happen to me but I wouldnt say big events I had some stuff turn on and off nothing major it was creepy though it felt like I was fighting with watever it was turning on the lights or my Wii. I would turn it off and it would turn right back on |

Nothing paranormal has happened to me, but some things have happened to my family. My dad died suddenly in a car accident when I was 11. A few nights later my mom found my brother, who was 7 at the time, out in the living room in the middle of the night, crying. He said he was talking to my dad and that he said goodbye. All of the doors in the house were open, including the front and back doors. My mom had some things happen too, after my dad died.

The theater was packed full of people. It was totally worth seeing if you like scary movies. The best one I've seen in a long time. I do have to warn you though, It was very very scary. Everyone was screaming. Dh was literally shaking at the end of the movie. But it was SO good.

I live in what is supposed to be one of the most haunted cities in the country. I went on a ghost tour of two places that were said to be haunted by ghost hunters, but nothing really out of the ordinary happened. We did manage to catch a few orbs while we were taking pictures.
To be honest i'm not really sure what i believe

When I was living in Hawaii I had a ghost with me that liked to open and close doors and walk around at night. We heard footsteps clear as day in the hallway but no one was ever there. ExDH's friend was visiting and watched a door open and close when the ex was sleeping and I had already left for work. The neighbor in the attached house (they were duplexes) heard noises like the sound of a ball rolling in her attic space.
Lots of people I worked with had stories of their own. One guy lived in the Ford Island barracks (used as a makeshift hospital during WWII) and his room would flood with water every day. He always woke up to about 1/2" of water on his floor. They looked for pipes that could have burst or something but there were no pipes running under his floor. After they moved him to another room, it stopped flooding. Another guy lived in the old housing on Hickam, which still had bullet holes in the outside walls from WWII, and he had TONS of stories! He and his wife and kids eventually moved out of there and into another house on Schofield. Before all this I did not believe in ghosts, but there was no denying that something else was living in our hosue with us in Hawaii. |
