So on Spikes Deadliest Warrior they had these two go against each other and the IRA kicked their butts.

Do you think that this would really happen?

Does it make you think that there are groups out there that are more dangerous than you think?

LOL We watched this last night...very interesting about the IRAs weapons. Yes there are dangerous groups out there. Now if it would happen, doubtful.

Today I had the joy of watching samuri stabbing people in the eyes (andrew watches and I am just in the room)

I didn't see if they or the Vikings won... I never pay close enought attention to see who wins.

I've also never seen won that is about groups today.

It does make me think...especially since unless I'm being stupid and having a brain fart, I don't believe I've even heard of the IRA. Off to google.

ETA: it was a brain fart lol. I suck at acronyms.

I am well aware of how dangerous the IRA can be, after all, they did focus their terror attacks (car bombings etc) on England and Northen Ireland. I remember hearing about the IRA alot and seeing the destruction that they caused. Even though there has been a ceasefire in recent years, the IRA has reported this year that they are looking to continue to carryout attacks within the UK "when it becomes opportune".

I'm sure the Taliban got a lot of their ideas from the IRA. . .they are the original modern religious terrorists.

Nope. Me and DH both watched it. DH was upset about the fact they showed the IRA winning.

Think about it. The taliban have been fighting the US military (plus those who are also helping, French/Canadians/etc.) now for a long time. They still are going strong...still killing our troops daily.

we were both suprised in the end. We really were.
