Santa **No Drama plz**
Well since the season is coming up fast I wanted to ask a question. When you take your kids to see Santa do you prefer to take then to see one that is the same race as you or do you not care? I had a friend who was black and would only take her kids to see a black Santa. I personally don't really care but my hubby does. He thinks that we should take them to see a white Santa b/c in the books and movies he's white and he doesnt' want to confuse. Ella is too young now to really care but when she's older I dont' know what I'll do. What are you opinions on this? Please keep this drama free but remember everyone gets their own opinion.

Too be honest I have never seen anything but a white santa. When we go to see Santa we are looking for the man in a red suit. Not the white, black, or mexican man in the red suit. it would not bother me one bit.
does your friend want a black easter bunny or is it just for Christmas? |

I won't take Sydney to see a Santa. I don't trust people and she won't go to them anyway. But if I were to take her to one it would be a white santa because that's what she'll see on tv and in pictures.

Honestly, it doesn't matter. But I've never seen anything other than a white Santa at the malls here, and where I grew up.
I really have no problem with them being from another race, but I guess it would be weird to me since for 23 years Santa has always been "white".

I wouldn't have a problem with it at all. I would tell my kids, if they saw a black Santa and questioned it, I would say "Santa is every race and represents everyone"

I would take Briana to see Santa...if he turns out to be black when we get there, he's still Santa. I wouldn't turn around and go back if he happened to be black or anything. But it's true, the majority are white. I don't think Bri knows at this age what race is so I don't think she'd notice really
