Can We Be Friends(do think you can make friends on the net?)

After reading all the drama it makes me really wonder if you can find real friends on the net, ones that won't turn there back on you if the group gets mad at you for some reason. I haven't been here aslong as some people here(I've been on here for 6 months, since March) but I have tried to get know a lot of people on here and most people have been VERY nice but some have been *****y(I will not name names).

I know that is normal in "Real Life" too but I came here to find friends and most of the time I've had the feeling of being left out because of many reasons(I'm in a wheelchiar for one and I'm a Marine wife for another so I don't feel like I fit).

Edited to add: I met my dh on the net so I know you can find love on the net but I asking about finding friends on support sites and stuff.

Ofcourse you can make real friends on the net. I found true love! I said in another thread that this is "real life" its merely just another form of communication. I totally believe that.

Yes it is possible to meet really nice people via the internet. Not everyone is on here (meaning the internet) to be fake and start crap.

I've met some really incredible women because of this site and NWW!

I foud my dh on the net too so I know you can find love on the net I am talking about finding friends which is different when you trying to find girls to be you friend, know what I mean sorry if that made no sense.

It is harder to find female friends on the internet for me, probably cos i usually talk to guys. But i have found some real mates on SOS and i hope that i meet them soon!
