Steve Irwin- the crazy australian crocodile hunter HAS died..

I just heard the news.. i havn't got my hands on an article- its JUST been confirmed.

He has been killed in an attack- not sure if it was by sting ray or shark- in the reef.

I never liked him much- he was too ecstatic for my liking.. but i do feel upset about a fellow australian been killed.

Ill get more info soon.

I really liked him. He and his wife were sweet together. I thought he had two kids... Maybe it was just one.

I used to watch his show about the zoo in australia.

He has a wife and a young daughter named Bindi

not sure if he had another child.. he might have but the child wasn't in the public eye at all then.

im really upset. he was like that guy i hated because he stereotyped australia. but he was an australian icon so its upsetting.

i feel for his family.

THE Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, is dead.

He was killed in a freak accident in Cairns, police sources said. It is understood he was killed by a sting-ray barb that went through his chest.

He was swimming off the Low Isles at Port Douglas filming an underwater documentary and that's when it occured.

Ambulance officers confirmed they attended a reef fatality this morning at Batt Reef off Port Douglas.
