if you or your spouse is a retire Army Ranger (or Navy EOD or other SF type positions in all the other branches) do you say my spouse is retired Army or My spouse is a retired Army Ranger? If you do why, if you do not why not.

    I am just curious.

DH is Army EOD, so I say he's EOD now, so I'd prob say he's retired EOD when he retired. though we'll see.

Um, I will prob say retired EOD. It's a way of life really, and sticks with them. He will be doing EOD work when he retires as well.

Have you ever thought about what protects our hearts? / Just a cage of rib bones and other various parts /
So it's fairly simple to cut right through the mess / And stop the muscle that makes us confess / And we are so fragile /
And our cracking bones make noise / And we are just breakable, breakable, breakable girls and boys.

Yeah, same with my DH. He wants to still do his EOD work once he's done with the army.

Eh, while my hubby isn't retired my dad and my brother in law both are. I say they are retired AF. If anything I might add rank. I don't add job.
