    Do you return change?

This post made me curious as to what everyone on this site does:

(I'm not quoting you to be snarky or anything, but you raised a really good point )

    So?
Do you pocket the change or give it back and figure their bad?

    And also,
If you keep the change when they give you too much what do you do when you are short changed? Do you get your money or just say oh well?

    (Thanks Sophie♥Hatter)

I would keep it.. unless it was like some ungodly wrong amount they gave me. But if it's a few bucks, I'm not gonna lie, I'll pocket it.

Nope I have been a cashier I never had a short drawer but I have had friends that did it causes a major issue.

You need a second question: if you keep the change when they give you too much what do you do when you are short changed? Do you get your money or just say oh well.

depends on how much it is.

if it was a large amount, i'd give it back.
but if it was just a dollar or some change or w/e... i'd just keep it

I give it back. Since I know I would go back in if they gave me too little I feel I have to give it back if they give me too much.

I consider it stealing to not return it.
this is like a bad movie, and i'd give it a 5 on my netflix

Honestly, I don't really pay attention to the change. Just the dollars.

depends on how much. Over a dollar - give it back.

I once went on a date with a boy in HS and we went out to lunch, they gave him back 20 more than he should've plus lunch free. He kept it.... and I didn't go on another date with him. to me its very shady

Change in this sense includes dollars I think.

TO be honest, I probably wouldn't notice.

I'm usually shoving change in my pockets and yelling at my kids to stop touching things and be quiet.
