Virtual Worlds made only for Cyber Sex? - Debates

I used to be a huge virtual world gamer, and before I bought my mac I played a lot back in high school. I haven't played these games in over a year, and just decided to download a game and play on it for awhile. The characters are just extremely sexy and perfect (Second Life) and it just seemed really sexually to me. I didn't really care and thought it was cool you could chat with people on it, and change the appearance of your avatar (Who doesn't want to look sexy?). But when one guy started talking to me and asked to have cyber sex with me I was appalled. I mean, I guess people are into different, things. But seriously, don't you think that sort of thing can ruin marriages and turn into a crazy fantasy that are not even real? I stopped playing the game just because every time I would log in, it was about sex or I would get asked to have sex. I know everyone has different morals and opinions, but do you think that sort of things can hurt relationships? And I also wonder, what do you gain from it?

So opinions, debate, on this subject. I am curious to see what you all think. (Don't worry, you wont offend me, we all live different lives and have different opinions.)

that is the EXACT reason i had to stop going to chat rooms...too many people wanting to cyber. I rather have real sex with my Dh. Yes, I do think cybering has the ability to ruin marriages/relationships and even just everyday life if it goes unnoticed.

I think almost anything has the potential to ruin a relationship if someone lets it get out of hand. One of the most important things to do if you (general) want to stay faithful is to keep yourself out of situations in which you would be temped. If this kind of thing tempts you (general), it's bad. If it doesn't, it's all fun and games.

Ummmm I dont think I could even get the desire to cyber with someone knowing it wasnt my man.
In my opinion yes I do think that potentially it could ruin a relation****p and I would never do it.

I don't think it ruins marriages no. I think temptation is very much open nowadays more so then it used to be. But temptation is just that. If there are going to cheat they were going to long before cybersex.
