    Question Be honest.

If your boss asked you to lie, would you?

ex: they want to get paid early and ask you to stamp an invoice "paid" well before they've cut the check.

Yeah it depends on the situation. If he asked me "If my brother calls tell him I'm in a meeting, I can't stand him." Sure, no problem.

But dis-honest business practices would be a no-no for me.

In that example... no. It would be called fraud in the Federal government and could land me in jail.

The only kind of lie I would give would be like the one someone already gave an example for... lying about if someone calls to say they aren't there... that doesn't affect my JOB.

lying about anything that has to do with the business and my JOB.. HELL TO THE NO. that is not acceptable.
