IF the draft ever returned, and they included women....give your HONEST opinion of your reaction if/when your number came up.

I would be devistated but I'd go and do my time.
Missing someone gets easier everyday because even though you are one day further from the last time you saw them, you are one day closer to the next time you will.

Well my number would not come up as I have served and I am now too old to be drafted. BUT if I was young (18-25) and had not served I would do my duty. Although I most likely I would of already joined a branch that does not draft. (AF or Navy).

If females were to be drafted it would only be fair that they also see combat on the front lines 100% equality across the board.

NOBODY wants to be drafted male or female, no one should ever be forced to go to war.

I'd do it if I was physically able and had no kid... however I have scoliosis so I'm not eligible for more than a desk job really. I wouldn't mind that, anyway. Not as big of a deal as some people want to think it is!

    I would go.
In a way I wouldn't mind it so much, because in some way I'm helping hubby.

I would not want to go. I am not cut out for the military. If I had to, of course I would b/c I would want to help, however, I do not think my place is in the military. I know I could not do it.

i'd cry. i can physically handle the demands, but i just dont believe in putting myself in a situation of potential violence. emotionally, i couldn't handle it. but i'd suck it up, do what i was told to do, and probably come home with ptsd.
