I think those men need outlets, and if it makes him feel better why not. Freedom of Speech.

i think its fine, i read his blog semi regularly.
it's long enough in the past now that he's not violating opsec or anything, and he has a story he feels needs to be told. db is writing his ass off in a journal while he's away, and wants to try to make it into a screenplay or novel.

its an aspect of life not many people experience firsthand, and i don't see why they shouldn't share their experiences.

i think he can say whatever he wants to as long as he isn't violating OPSEC with anything current

I guess the concern was that he was being extremely graphic and it was disturbing people...but i agree with all of you, I think it might be his outlet and i mean the truth hurts i guess

I think that it'd be wrong to say that he couldn't blog like that.
It's amusing, the way he writes---just my kind of stuff. Plus, you don't HAVE to read it. If people are offended, they can click that 'x' button at the top corner of their browser. KWIM? Lol

yeah, if you want sunshine and butterflies and rainbows, reading a soldier's blog about iraq isn't exactly the right place for it.
