    Why is it..

    Advertisements
that people (women..) are willing to say "I love you" to a man after one date, but choke on saying "I love you" to a friend after months?

    ...or is it just me?

Im not the type of woman that would say I love you to a man after a 1st date. It took me 4 months to say it to DH who was DB at the time.

I don't say I love you to anyone right away but once I do feel that way, I say it all the time. I lost my sister and niece a few months ago so I make sure the people I love know that I love them.

I don't have a problem with saying I Love you to my family/friends before than a man. It all depends. If I feel it I'll tell you and if I don't then I don't.

ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE HOW YOU FEEL!

I have lots, too many amazing friends at a young age. They all knew that I loved them and I have no problem saying it. I also have to say it to my family, even if I am upset. And for my kids...they can never get enough kisses and hugs and "I LOVE YOU" My daughter could say I love you by 14 months. I was EXTREMELY proud.

I'm more likely to say it to my family and friends and make the guy wait. DB was no exception. He said it and then I made him wait until I felt it before I said it.

I don't normally tell my friends that because I am always scared that it will sound weard (sp?) but dh was the only guy I have ever told that I love him so I guess I just don't say it much to anyone

We dated for 4 months before he said it to me, and it was another month or so before I said it. We say it ALL the time now!
