    Age and Facebook.

    Advertisements
Poll's coming If I can work it!

Ok, since they've let anyone use Facebook these days, has it lost it's "cool" factor? It started out as just college students, then expanded to high school, now is open to absolutely anyone.

I was wondering, because I can see both sides. But my mother in law joined today, which made me want to get OFF it. I just feel like it's an informal thing about being young and having fun and once the adult's in the room, everyone acts different. BUT on the other hand, I think it's only fair to open it up to everyone. Thoughts?

I don't think there should be an age limit ( other than the very young but that goes without saying) on things like facebook and myspace. I'm almost 30 should I not have a facebook account because I'm not "young" and some people consider me the adult in the room? For some people it's just a form of communication, a way to see pictures and keep up on people's/relatives lives without constant email or heavy attachments. for other's its to spy to each their own though.

    I will miss you SOS...

I agree. I'm one of the 'older' people and I prefer facebook to myspace. I'd be a little annoyed if I was told that I shouldn't be on there!

still what should it matter. its a way to connect with people just like any form of the internet. but who is to say who is too old. At what age should you be cut off from things?

I voted Other...because I've never used or been on facebook, so I really don't have much of an opinion on it.
