I follow her blog and she has never steered me wrong. I am trying the first one (Jamaican Jerk Pork) tomorrow night. It is currently marinading in my fridge. I will let you know how it turns out.

When I do pork shoulder for shredding it can be in there in 8-10 hours. I do find most the chicken and non-shred pork stuff really only needs 4-5.

Oh also beef tips do well for the longer duration, as well as beef roasts. I don't really have recipes though.

If you ever have to get a new crockpot in the near future, they have programmable ones that turn to warm after 6 or 8 hours.

This is what I use. It's an eCookbook which costs $10. But there's been several recipes that I've enjoyed. I'm going to check out SkinnyTaste, though. Haven't seen that one before.
